Hello everyone, so last night somthing just hit me like a brick, a cheap ice house. How you ask, well when i go back to montana for christmas im gonna grab my “tent” yes… my cheap 4 person tent i think i bought at wal-mart for like $30-$40?? Im gonna set it up in my living room and do some modifications, like cut out circles in the floor then reattatch them with zippers , maybe same thing with some vent holes. maybe sew some carpet in on the bottom?? Im also gonna try to find a way to inslulate it? dont know how im gonna do this yet but ill be sure to keep you posted with ideas and progress. its gonna be awesomely cheap and ghetto looking but cheap is the key word in that sentance! hahahhaha

Seriously, If you want a 2 man flip over clam that just needs a couple patches I will sell it to you for 50 bucks. Its sitting in my garage not getting any action ever since I bought the otter. You will spend more in that just geting your tent set up.

Sure, I reread my post. Its not a “flip over” its this Clam
If he doesn’t want it and you are willing to drive or meet me at BlueFlecks place in Dresbach then sure. I don’t need the money or anything so its more of a deal for someone who can appreciate it.

I had the same idea a few years ago and yes it can work,I set it up then sliced the floor out of it and stayed warm for many trips out with it.Dont plan on getting out of it on windy days and never get out of it and leave a small kid in it if its windy. They are really hard to catch blowing across the lake. This did happen to my kid once.
