Let Strikemaster give you a new one under warranty, if they did not fix it the first time.

Call Strikemaster and give them a shot at fixing your issue. Their custom service has been very good in my experience.
First I want to welcome you to IDO GGW.
What did you have repaired on the auger bit? Was the flighting loose or bent? Or was the shaft bent? Did you get some new blades as well?
They adjusted the pitch of the blades. Nothing was loose so I assume that it must of been bent. The shaft is straight. New blades were put on at that time as well.
I could send it back again, but the shipping was expensive. They were very prompt, but didn’t solve the problem the first time.

Please, tell them that. I bet they make it right. No reason you should have to re-ship a second time after the first attempt to fix the issue didn’t meet expectations. I’ve never known Strikemaster to fall short on taking care of an issue causing a customer dissatisfaction with one of their products.
I think had the same issue with my lazer mag express a couple years back. The surface where the blades mount got knocked out of pitch from re drilling holes in the wheel house. I brought it to D rock and was told they would basically bend them back to correct pitch, but the steel would be weaker. It worked great for a while but not perfect.

Once you deflect steel past its yield point, it will never be as strong as it once was unless its retreated. The best example is bending a paperclip back and forth until it eventual snaps.
So every time you have the pitch bent back its is more and more likely to bend unless you are more careful. If you bend an auger’s pitch and have it bent back, you need to make sure you take it easy.
When drilling through thick ice and you need to clean the hole before you’re through, be very careful not to slam the auger back down into the hole. Also, There should be no need to push on the auger. A very slight down force is sometimes needed. If you ever have to really push; take the auger out and wipe off the thin layer of ice on the bottom of the blades.
Its important to remember that an auger is a precision drilling machine not an ice chisel
