    WOW that is a frisbee! What are the measurements on that fish? Last year I caught a 12″ bluegill and this one puts that fish to shame. I bet it was a blast reeling that one in!

    12″ gill is almost 2lbs if not over. any pics of this pig???

    That is a BRUISER!! I have seen 1 gill that went 12 inches, and I was fishing with Dave Genz up in this neck of the woods when HE caught it, and it dwarfed the 10.5 inchers we were catching. My buddies dad spends the winters in Arizona, and he has several 2lb gills from waters down that way that I think he is mounting. Regardless………..YIKES is that a monster monster Gil!! Congrats!!

    The gill is my avatar pic, but I’ll post another one here. The “2nd place bluegill” First time attaching a pic, so I hope it works. She swam away to do her thing too!

    There will be a pic of this fish on display at the Ice Show this weekend that will give the location of the catch, and how it was caught.
