Looking into sonar for this winter. Like the price of the showdown, but I’m curious, can I run 2 inside a 4×6 portable? One for me and one for whoever is with me. I have seen you can get 2 ducers for Vexilar. how does that work? Will any of these run basically side by side in a portable shack? Thanks for any help

My buddies and I all have the showdown, and there’s no interferance issues when were all in the icehouse together. Really happy with this unit. hope this helps.

You will need two separate units. Although you can purchase two different transducers through any manufacturer, you will still have only one display at any one time.

My recommendation, if you’re looking in that same price category, is to purchase two Marcum VX-1 Pros. As an entry-level flasher, they’re manufactured by the same company as the Showdown (Versa), to outpace the competition’s flagship model. Being almost identical in price, and easier to read IMO (color flasher vs. B/W vertical display), you’ll be alot happier for years to come with the net result. No other flasher on the market is so deep on features for the price by a very wide margin!

I think your talking about the 9/19 dual transducer. Its one transducer with a switch box that you can flip it from 9 to 19 degrees whenever the situation may call for it.
