My first post…. Wondering if anyone can suggest a Camcorder to hook into a Marcum VS560? Currently have a JVC HD Digital Camcorder setup on a Gorilla Pod to record screen from the 560. Pod is then attached to the poles of my Flipover tent. There is no A/V inputs on the JVC, just outputs.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions?
PS: Already thought of picking up the Marcum 825C but it doesn’t have the Panning feature like the 560. Spoke to a Rep and there is an LCD w/Panning feature in the making.

I am not familiar with the Marcum VS560 but I have the 820 and use a Cannon ZR80 with mine.

Great cameras i wish they would have kept the pan feature in the 825c. I have the VS460 and its a breeze not having to manually rotate the cord. More fishing time, I bet the remote feature is a blast.

I use a handycam dvr on mine with several 2Gb sd cards, Also very small and portable, good footage but grainy at times. Formatting is an issue so choose wisely if you plan to edit videos.

I modified the rubber grommet and installed a 4Ft Video cord permanently and placed the other end in the cam case when not in use.
You can also clone video to another small tv for other fishers. Great for kids its just like a video game.
