Does anybody have a recommendation for a 12v fan for keeping the air circulating in an ice castle? I am looking to install a fan in the new wheelhouse, but the handful of automotive fans that I have looked at were loud. I want something quiet to keep the air moving – something I can leave on when sleeping – and don’t have turn the radio way up to hear over it. This should help keep the holes open on the far end of the house and make it more comfortable in general. Any thoughts?

Not sure if you live by a Northern Tool or not, but they usually have a bin of old computer fans that people have been wiring up in their shacks. $5 to $7 bucks is what I paid. Small, quiet and they don’t take much juice!

You may want to consider multiple fans to move the air around. It doesn’t take much to keep the holes open and the guys on the lower bunks comfy.
