Where’s Marcum

    I was in Rogers today and couldn’t find any Marcums. Salesman said they were bought out and weren’t shipping any product??? I just bought a LX 5 at the end of the year last year and hoping that the company is still around.

    MarCum is still around! They were purchased by versa electronics, who actually makes MarCum components, not to worry your still in great hands!

    I’m going to say this as politely as I can, I think your salesman was mistaken.

    Iam looking forward to a great season on the ice with my Marcum LX-5 that I bought on sale from Reeds last spring!!

    Bought LX-5 couple weeks ago.Met with alot of the same misinformation!So I contacted MarCom got a QUICK great response from cust. ser. dept.Answered all my questions plus a lot I didn’t think to ask.Don’t think there’s anything to worry about!Heard a rumor of a LX-7?.But he said not this year,too much else going on!!

    Yep, MarCum still rocks and has everyone in good hands. LX-7 hey……the only thing my LX-5 does not do for me at this point is clean fish

    The LX-7 thing came from the sale”kid”most of my mis info came from.Cleaning fish might be better left to strikemaster to figure out!!

    I hear ya! I got mine last march from Reeds and only got to use it once! I have been going crazy waiting all summer looking at it on the shelf.

    Same here. That deal early this year was incredible. Cant wait to use mine.
