For guys that ran the Strike Lite last year: how did the auger perform for you?

I’m going to add a second drill to my collection this winter, and am considering going 4-stroke….for less noise, less weight, and fewer oil fumes condensing on my glasses.

Did the Strike Lite perform to your expectations??

I have ran them since their birth- I wouldn’t run anything else, that is how pleased I am with them.

Unless, I am way north…in 36+ inches of ice, then its time to bring out the solo-

Had mine 1 1/2 seasons now. I like it a lot. It performs very well and always fires up first or second pull. It gets excellent gas mileage (a full tank lasts forever) and the not having to mix is a huge plus. I did have one little problem last year in that I cracked off a chunk of the composite bit near the top but it hasn’t affected the overall performance that much. Just gotta make sure you keep that composite bit vertical. Otherwise

Thanks James, good to know. Maybe I didn’t hit post after the preview.

Lord knows I’ve done that. I did think it important to respond and let you and other to know we don’t pick and choose the info that gets shared here. No point in hanging out on an “open” forum that isn’t open.

I did see your original reply and recall something about
having to keep the auger vertical.

You must have inadvertently deleted it yourself if nobody
    else did it.
