New (to me) Ice house

Hey Gang!!… … Just wanted to post some pics of an Eskimo flip over ice house I picked up this past weekend. I lucked out and found this on craigslist. I’ve been browsing quite a bit looking for one and this popped up. Its in almost new condition, no tears or rips..everything works.!!.. .. Now I’m ready for some ice..LOL. I will be nice and comfy in this when I need to crank up the heat, plenty of room for a couple holes and accessories.. Now all I needs an auger.. Hand held.. wallet is lookin a bit strained..LOL..

Just an idea for you, my first flip over also had the bench seat too. I purchased one of the clip on stadium seats so I had a back rest, worked great and was a cheap fix for a little added comfort.

Picked up the same house last year. Lite enuff and small enuff to pick up and strap to the wheeler rack. I couldn’t agree more with Brets suggestion. I did the same thing, picked up a stadium seat for a few $’s. Works great Plus they don’t take up much room.

When you are looking for an auger look for Strikemaster lazer hand auger. I think it is a very good auger and works with ease for going through the ice. Down the road if you have a heavy duty drill motor you can use that to drill your holes. I have a Fire Storm and if the ice is not to thick I use it if not out comes the power auger.

Excellent Idea.. .. I will definitely head out and pick one of those up. I am really excited about ice season this year..it’s only my second and year on the ice, but having my own flip over and assorted equipment will make planning my outings a ton easier. Thanks for the suggestion.. Maybe we’ll see you on the ice sometime!…
