It’s getting to be a sad sight when logging in. The ice fishing bobber has been translucent long enough! June 1 baby! 6 months & counting!

Bosman I like you on the Hunting site, but this post makes me not like you over here. Let me at least pull planer boards once before you start calling for ice.
If you want to talk to me, contact me on the Hunting side, because I don’t like the fishing Bosman.

Lip, Who gave you directions to this forum? I thought you only knew where walleye, and the hunting spots were. (j/k)
June 1, 2009 at 8:03 pm #780973Just refreshed the MarCum batteries last weekend.
Might have to tare the Beaver Dams apart here soon and re-lube. It is just these small things that helps us get through this crappy warm weather seasonJune 1, 2009 at 11:14 pm #781042Quote:

Most of us guys rut all year round……oh your talking deer
Sorry, guess the lull in the ice action is starting to get to me
June 13, 2009 at 2:27 am #783714After the temps being in the 40’s and the fog keeping the air moist for the last couple nights…I’m considering getting the SnoSuit out.
Hey! I thought this forum was locked down ’till December!?

June 16, 2009 at 10:33 pm #784419So we might as well make some fun out of this ice fishing stuff….
So what is Vexilar going to have new this year? I heard GPS built in but haven’t seen it yet.
June 16, 2009 at 11:52 pm #784430Is that something that would actually be beneficial? Personally I have never said Gee I wish my flasher had GPS. It just means I would have to haul my flasher around while drilling holes, or riding out to a spot rather than my hand held(lighter) H20. just my .02
I think HB came out with the biggest must haves last year. That Flat Bigger screen, and the LCD read out is killer. I would love to see marcum do one of those if not both.
June 17, 2009 at 12:17 am #784441I agree, my hand held is much easier to walk around with but as long as we are talking flashers…..no matter what unit you have this is a good time to put a full charge into your battery, don’t forget the spare
June 17, 2009 at 12:41 am #784448pulled the charger off this morning, and forgot to put the spare on! thanks Brett.
June 21, 2009 at 4:14 am #785431Just spend the morning getting my buddies boat ready for the river this evening. After that was complete we saw his Eskimo sitting in the back of the garage. Well we decided to put that together.
Of course we had to test it. SO we grabbed a 6 pack and had a seat. After sitting in it we both agreed we would rather be sitting in it on the water rather than his boat.
June 25, 2009 at 5:15 pm #786579Hello, hello, hello
As Mike and I were dragging cut baits for channels cats last night in a moist heat causing a dew on the man berries I couldn’t help but think of the song……..Ice Fishing Baby
Just the thought of having my feet back on the ice put points in my T shirt
A couple more months of this crap and things should start to cool off once again.
Hang in there crew, we can get through this togetherJuly 3, 2009 at 1:57 pm #788267DING! One more month in the rear view mirror on our little drive through summer on our way to HEAVEN! Don’t forget to sharpen your blades boys ~
August 1, 2009 at 1:06 pm #794746The big 8-1 baby! Dog days of August & Slumptemper dead ahead. Followed by Oct & Nov open water slab hunting to establish fruitful ICE fishing pastures!

Down here in the KC area we just had the 3rd coolest July on record. Hopfully this weather pattern will hold.
September 30, 2009 at 5:08 pm #534267There was a sight that flooded my eyes with tears of happiness this morning in Sparta…..my dogs water bowl was froze over

June 29, 2010 at 5:09 pm #883461The whether forecast this weekend are temps way to hot
If you ask me, with conditions like this, the July holiday is shot.I’m just stayin’ inside passing the days by my artificial cold air
Heck, I might even lay around in the buff, sportin’ my glow white Derriere.June, July, August, these months make my body feel weak,
For you summer buffs us ice nuts have to turn the other cheek.Soon our time will come and the ice tundra will return,
My love is for hard water, which makes open water guys arse’s burn.Red bobber, red bobber, in the ice thread I love how you glow
This soft water season, is already starting to blow
