Red Wing Marina Ice conditions

    Looking to run down in the next couple of days and throw some tipups in. Any word on ice?

    Guys were out walking the ice late this past weekend. No vehicle traffic yet obviously but there’s enough ice to accomodate foot travel from what I’m seeing. Guys are catching pannies around the docks. No word on the pike bite.

    Sunfish and crappies are biting decent. I haven’t caught any pike out of the marina yet.

    I’ll be drowning some shiners in the marina tomorrow morning. I’ll let you know if I have any luck.

    Usually the panfish bite is hot early until the northerns move in. Get em while its hot! Thanks, Bill
