Ice thickness on the Finger Lakes

    I was on the Finger Lakes today and Bob and Dan who do the fish census fell through the ice going from 2nd to 3rd lake in the swamp area and both broke through coming off by the dike area. Be careful!

    Hey StaleMackrel,

    The ice on the finger lakes sounds a little early, but maybe one or two more good cold nights will make a difference? Have you checked out any other areas?

    Hi Mike, No, I have not been out except for yesterday. I will be hitting the ice a lot starting next Monday. StaleMackrel
