This article was in todays paper copy of the St Paul Pioneer Press. Human interest, filler story. I thought it was real neat! I could not find the story on-line, so a clipped it and scanned it in. (Hope it turns out)

    Hey guys:

The best part is that he is fishing the drains next to Monona Bay off Lake Monona. He really is catching fish there!!! It is true, but I outta get some comments from this!!!

Seems to me that this kid shows great love for the sport of fishing. I truely hope that there are alot more of these kids around.

My roomate last year at college is from Wisconsin and he told me he fished through the drains quite a bit. I don’t remember exactly where it was, but he said he would drive to the lake and if the ice was too thin he would just fish there.

Great picture, I am sending it to my friend from Wisconsin right now.

How funny! Last year I wrote an article, Fishing – outside the Box. In this article I talked about fishing in the storm sewer on our street as a Kid. I wonder if this guy read that.
Nice to know I’m not alone when it comes to fishing anywhere there’s water.
Heck, I still tune baits in the storm water pond down the road! It’s the closest water to home.
