Driving Conditions on LOTW

    Going up to LOTW on March 20-24. Fishing for the eyes. Was hoping that somebody could shed some light on the driving situation between Zipple Bay and Pine Island. Do I need to bring my four wheeler? Or will a four wheel drive truck get me where I want to go? Basically, can I travel off the ice roads with a four wheel drive truck? Plan to fish the primary breakline between Zipple Bay and Pine Island. Don’t plan to move much further north unless we have to. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    As of yesterday (Wed.) morning no off road truck travel. Even the non-tracked ATV’s were getting stuck. There was about 10″ of hard pack before the blizzard came through. But with the warm forecast the conditions could well improve by the 20th.
