This was emailed to me the other day.

    Charlie Eldredge 8 years old

Caught on one of the Glacial Lakes of the Dakotas…close to Roy Lake if I was going to guess.

Charlie is know as the “better” fisherman of the family.

That’s one of the best pictures of a bass I’ve ever seen…and if it was my son, that would be on my desk!

That’s one Charlie will be able to brag about for many years to come.

Hats off to the camera man as well.

Looks that way. I didn’t get much info with the picture.

I’ll see if I can pry some specifics out of Charlie.

“Thanks everybody for being so nice. We caught a bunch of them last year in open water so went to the same exact spot this winter over the rock piles. We jigged teaser leaders with suckers and boy did we catch lots of big fish. Walleyes, Bass and Northerns. The only other guys fishing around us stopped by and wanted to trade holes with me but I just said maybe next time, and everybody laughed. Plus, it was 15 below outside our fish house and I wasn’t going anywhere. Thanks again. I love fishing.”

    Way to go Charlie!

What an awesome day and picture – one to cherish for a long, long time. That smile says it all.

I was cruising around the Glacial Lakes area last summer on my Harley and all I kept thinking (besides that it was a beautiful area) was that I have got to get back out here with the boat.
