2 gallon sport water container from walmart. The one that you have the tighting lid and the little spout on the bottom. $8 and tough. Beats everything else, no spills, no leaks, fit quit a few dozen of minnows.
Good question.I see my fair share of minnow haulers ranging from a coffee can to a 50qt cooler. Without a doubt, the flow-troll bucket is the most common one I see. They seem to be very durable.I have no idea if they are the best or not,but certainly the most common one used here.
It depends on where I’m fishing & what size bait I’m using. But overall, I prefer the styrofoam bucket that fits perfectly in a 5-gallon pail. A styrofoam bucket helps to keep the water cool in summer & from feezing in winter. The 5-gallon pail protects the foam from damage & is easy to carry. I also have a Frabill aerator lid that locks to the top of the pail.
