If many of you may have not heard, a vehicle went through the ice on the St. Louis River on Saturday morning. The vehicle also brought down the driver and his beloved dog. The driver of the vehicle was my best friends brother in law and possibly the best fishermen that I have known. I only met the driver a few years ago through my friend, but every minute that we spent with him we learned something new. Whether we were fishing, working or just hanging out with him, he was always willing to give us helpful information on fishing and most importantly, life in general. I just want all of you to remember that no ice is safe and send your prayers to his family.
