I seen one at mills last weekend. They look like a pretty decent suit. Does anyone have one? Any thoughts?

I dont have a Vex suit but I have a Strikemaster one that is similar. For the money I think they are a good buy.I also have a ice armor suit I like better for ice fishing but they are a little more money.Typically this time of year they will clear this stuff out and you can get some really good buys.

I have the vexilar coat, and it is the warmest coat I have ever owened. I have the ice armour suit also, but I wear the vexilar coat over the ice armour one. I haven’t heard anything about the bibs, but if they are anything like the coat, I’m sure they are great.

Just got the full suit for Xmas and a friend has the Ice Armor. I like the Vex suit better and it is warm. Used it when it was -25 below and it cuts the wind just fine. Best investment yet for ice fishing.

I have a Vexilar Cold Snap suit and love it. There are a ton of pockets to store everything that you need and even some room for extras. I have found this suit to be durable, warm and comfortable to wear. In my opinion this was a very well designed outfit that was done so by fisherman/women who knew what was needed for a day on the ice or on the water.

Has anyone had any bad relations with them? Like zipper problems or snaps? My buddy bought a Ice Armour suit and has had about 6 buttons come off already and he bought new this year, so that’s why I’m thinking on going with the cold snap suit.

I have the Vex jacket And love it. I used it for a year and boaght an Ice Armor extreme suit I like that much better. I have not had any issue with it neither has my dad brother and girlfriend. We fish 5-7 days a week through winter and spring. I did get the suit cheep as I new someone who worked there. For the money it is as good as the snowsuit for half the money in my opionion. My friend now works independently for snowsuit and I wouldn’t switch. Whatever you choose it will be better then what the old timers used.

My friend and I both bought a Vexilar Suit last year and we both purchased Artic Armor suits this year. Both suits are great! The big advantage to the Artic Armor is the safety features, but for the money the Vexilar suit is plenty warm and comes at a substantially lower price tag!

I waited a year and bought a Sno Suit. I got sick and tired of hearing the guys around me go on and on about these suits.

But you know what? They were right! Honestly, cold cannot penetrate this suit.

I can’t speak for the Vex suits…but it seems you got some feedback there…

Im sure those other suits offer good features and warmth for the money you pay for them but the Snosuit is in a class of its own when it comes to warmth. Yea the Snosuit is more money than the others. The money you save on not having to buy a fish house to stay warm in will help off set the costs.

My friend bought an ice armour suit and the zipper broke the 4th time he used it. Don’t know the customer service side of it.

Call Dean @ Everts. Ask him if he plans to offer any special pricing this spring.

I have the Ice Armour Extreme parka and bibs and really love them. They are super warm and fit comfortably. The lack good pockets especially on the bibs but I have not had a single issue or failure and am using them for the 2nd year. I have not tried the other suits to know how it compares but it is the best ice / cold weather gear I have ever owned.
