    Picking up alot of gills and pies on north Prairie and Ojaski. Most are small. Waiting for the big perch bite. Usually February and March produce some really nice perch. We have been picking up some nicer panfish over on Blake lake just north of Range on Hwy 8. Honestly I have spent more time on water away from Chetek this year even though I live less than a mile from the landing on north Prairie. Just can’t seem to consistently catch fish of any size through the ice on the chain. Hope you do well. Please post if details if you do!

    Hey guys! Thanks for the help. 6 guys and 2 kids headed up there to do some ice fishing on Saturday the 31st of Jan. While the ladies where having their baby shower in Eau Claire. We didn’t do too bad. The father in-law and myself managed 22 Blue Gills between us. Rob got his Limit. And so did Grandpa. Rob also managed a Nice 28 inch Musky through the ice. It was pretty fat so he got a nice picture and back down the hole for another day. All in all we had a great time and the kids had fun going on four-wheeler ride in between.
