Northern MN Ice Thickness

    Maybe if I make it more broad I will get some replies. Heading up near the north shore to Lax Lake this weekend with some buddies, anybody have an idea of ice thickness? Or any feedback from anywhere else near? Want to make sure I have enough auger. Current set-up is SM Mag with 10″ extension. Thanks

    Im up in ely going to school and im not even close to needing an extension, so you should be fine.

    No extensions needed north of aitkin this past weekend.
