I remember recently Mendotaeye dumping over a full minnow bucket in my otter and ruining my radio. Does that count?

i have maglights in about a 100′ area that were all lost in 3 back to back trips, however my best one was up on red when i had a rod in a holder and got a bite! on the hook set the rod holder fliped across the house and splashed down in the other hole i was fishing! after landing the first fish i got excited cause my other bobber was down in the other hole. needless to say i ended up catching my rod holder on the other line, go figure i got all worked up over nothing, but it was a nice land and an even better fight, lol

heard some commotion coming from the buddies shack, then it was a scene from Cheech and Chong, where the smoke comes billowing out of the van when they open the door, bunch of laughing, swearing…silence…cheering, didn’t know anybody would keep a daredevil in their ice fishing tackle box, but now I know why!

Haven’t lost much…but did lose an ice scoop up on LOTW. We were in a rental it was cold out so the holes would skim once in a while. We were in a 4 corner house and my buddy in the opposite corner from me needed the scoop, so I passed it over and when he got done he just kinda dropped it on the floor toward the middle of the house and that is when it started “traveling” across the house. the 3 of us sat there watching it, all of us figuring it would stop….nope the dang thing went about 6′ across the floor and straight down the hole. It was pretty funny because it was like slow motion and when it finally went down we just sat there in disbelief. It was like it grew legs.

About 4 years ago i lost my whole jig box down the hole. I always keep my jigs in my bucket but decided to do some hole hopping. So i grabbed the box and off i went. i hook into a big crappie and it comes off in the hole. I make an ole crappie flop on the ice and get my sleeve pretty wet. i start to stand up and ploop. The box worked itself out nof the pocket and proceeded to sink. It didnt even bob, straight down in about 6 foot of water. Got out the camera and located it. I rigger up a pole with a treble hook and went after it. It was plano double sided blue box with the clip on the end. About 10 tries later i got her back. Another unrealated story, I bought a hand warmer that burned the fuels sticks one year. I lit it and threw it in the inside pocket of my jacket. Well the hand warmer got really warm, when boom!!! I was wearing a down filled jacket and feathers were everywhere. the lighter was in the same pocket and had exploded. my friends were laughing so hard they couldn’t fish for 15 minutes

My buddy Dan has lost everything but a flasher I think. The inside of his house is a lanyard heaven. He ties everything off now. Funny stuff.
