Got a chance to fish with my brother on Barber Lake, had 14 inches of clear ice and about 6 of what I call smokie ice on top of that. Only out for 2 hours before the cold front came through. The Perch bite was fast and furious, caught a limit of keepers and was busy enough, I did not have time for a cold one 
We where both using Bug eyes, brother had a gulp bug and I was using waxies. Had a blast. Sorry no pictures, forgot the camera.
