leaving clam shanty out? will it hold up?

    i have a clam 6800 thinking of anchoring to ice? anyone ever done this?

    I’ve seen it done. It usually has the same result, poles bent, tarp blown away. I personally would remove the tarp and take it home with me each time. Then just collapse the poles to keep them from getting damaged. Those shacks are too expensive to let the wind blow them away/apart.

    thank you im talking of leaving out couple days at a time as i can see it from my trailer at resort on small lake.
