Just a little FYI. Bought a Strikemaster 4 stroke (8″). What a machine. Starts on first pull and drills thru’ the ice like going thru butter. Far out performs the Jiffy STX 3hp 9″ I was using prior to buying the Strikemaster, also half the weight. Which to me matters as I get older. I drilled 20 holes this AM and didn’t get tired from carrying the auger from hole to hole. I would have only been able to drill a few holes had I been using the Jiffy. Not bashing Jiffy its just my opinion that the Strikemaster is a very good machine and again as I said, much lighter. A great big
