What a day..

    hit up Owasso yesterday, and man did I give myself a work out. 18 holes all by hand. Never really found the fish. Found pleanty of dinkers but nothing of any size or substance… Well atleast of the fish variety. Found pleanty of substance on the ice. I know this gets posted alot, But WTF are people thinking?

    2 one pound propane tanks and over a 12 pack of cans came home with me, To think I only brought 1 1lb tank, and 2 cans of mountain dew.

    However on the bright side had a CO stop in and check on me. 1st she thought the bag of crap was mine. I explained that that is what I had collected so far. She laughed as she was happy to hear I hadn’t put down 12 pack by noon. Let me tell you she can come into my shack ANY DAY!!!! Almost put out a few extra tip-ups just so she would come back.

    Hope others had a better day.

    It’s pretty sad isn’t it. I picked up a bunch of stuff on both Saturday and Sunday. I’m certainly not perfect, but to leave the stuff I’m seeing is uncalled for. If anyone is interested in two High Lifes, they are in my dumpster.

    Where were you at? Let me know next time you are up I have a few spots out there and it is not that bad of a drive for me. 5 minutes from work for the night bite also.

    Was there as many people out there. That lake gets hit a lot. Good job on the clean up. Did you ask the CO if she tagged anyone for trash out there? I don’t get some people

    As I was coming off the lake around 4,it started to become a parking lot.

    Oh I asked her. I think I asked her just about every question I could come up with. She hadn’t tagged anyone for littering yet yesterday but says they usually get 2-3 each time on the lake. I’m just guessing it’s usually the same group that just doesn’t care if they are getting that many.

    On a metro lake like that was the trash from fishermen or from people just driving out on the ice to party/park?

    I’m guessing fisherman. Everything was picked up near holes, and places you could tell shacks had been sitting.

    Asked yourself this questuon about littering. Is it ok to throw cigarett buts down on the ice? A shack that has been on the ice for 2 weeks then moved left behind enough butts and cigar stubs but people seem not bothered by this. Littering is littering would like to see some one ticketed for this.

    Oh that drives me up a wall too. When I was smoking I would toss them on the ice, but always had “a spot” and picked them up when I left. Just didn’t want the shack smelling like smoke. B
