Looking at the specs online the 2 person X2 weighs 145 lbs and the insulated version is 10 pounds lighter at 135 lbs. this doesn’t seem quite right. I lifted one at Scheels and it seems about the same as my Otter Medium which supposedly weighs 65 lbs without seats. Can somebody help me out that actually has one. Also, will it fit in a chevy silverado crew cab?

I have the X1 and it’s not light by any means. Those seats are awesome, but they weigh a lot.

Rodbender, it will fit in a 6’3″ box snuggly. It will fit in an 09 Ram Crewcab, with the front of the sled to the back, lift the sled about 5 inches and shut the tailgate… It is a heavier shack, but I load and unload mine myself It gets really heavy with a auger, 12v deep cycle and 20lb propane tank in it

Sorry I can’t say I’ve ever weighed one but there is a very noticable difference between my 80-100 lb. Yukon and the X2. My Uncle has an X2 and the thermal X2 and it takes both of us to move it around, although that sled design does pull much easier. It will fit in a 6′ box.

The X2 is really 145 lbs… The X thermal is based pn a slightly different seld and is 135 lbs.

    Set up size:

    X2 90″ front to back 75″ wide 75″ tall

X thermal 92″ front to back 72″ wide 75″ tall

    Sled size:

    X2 42″ wide 75″ long

    x thermal 45″ wide 72″ long

I have no idea why they did this, most like so if you own an X2 and want to go thermal you have to buy a whole new shack.

A buddy of mine has one and it’s a bear to pull through fresh snow.
