LAZER MAG PROBLEM

    MY LAZER MAG POWER AUGER KEEPS DYING ON ME BECUASE THE VENT CAP ON THE GAS TANK KEEPS VIBRATING CLOSED. IS THERE AN EASY FIX FOR THIS.

    Do you open the vent cap all the way until it bottoms out?
    I could see it vibrating closed if you are just cracking it open, that’s why I ask.

    i just give it a couple of turns. i tried to turn it till it stoped but it turned right out.

    There is a keeper on the bottom of the screw missing. Should be a e clip.Wes

    put a vented summer cap on it. like one from a lawn mower just do not fill gas tank to the top as it warms up it will leak out. other wise it works fine

    yeah an easy fix buy a new gas cap they are like 11 bucks!

    I don’t own a power auger but in reviewing the responses…could the missing e-clip still be in your tank and getting over the gas line??? Just a thought.
