Coon Valley bottomed out at -38 this morning…wasn’t hard to tell that the forecast was a little off when it was already -25 at 11 last night. When the cold settles into this bowl between the mountains it can take a while to warm… what are the temps out in the rest of the world.

-28 in ham lake this morning. Wow. Dont know if I have seen that temp in a long time. Sure didnt fell that cold out at 2 am last night as we where out thawing and fixing broken pipes for our customers. Cold weather is good for the economy. Not so good for my sleep.

I see that one of my temp sites that said -26 last night and -38 this morning must have been wrong… its only about -25 right now….. I feel about a 1000 times better about that.

Do they leave a small stream of water running in all their faucets like we do here at night ????

Hi L.E., -33 this morning in Richland Center. When I went out to get more firewood I opened the garage door for the wife and steam poured out. The thermometer on her car said 13 inside the garage, but everything started just fine.

Look at the bright side, it’s going to make 20+ degrees tomorrow feel like a heat wave on the ice.

-23 @ 8 a.m. this a.m. in Minocqua. Looking forward to the warm up and hopefully this is it for the bitter cold for the season. I would be surprised if that would happen as we usually get one real cold one in Feb. yet.
