Pool 4/backwater Ice Fishing

    Is there any place a guy can ice fish the backwaters of pool 4? Just wondering if anybody does or if you could point me in the general direction of where to go. Looking for perch and bluegills mainly, but info on any other speicies would be great as well.

    Just off the road between Wabasha and Nelson, WS. After coming off the high bridge from Wabasha, look on your right for the second paved parking lot [the first is right there as you leave the high bridge]. Plenty of playland there. You’ll see where they’re doing the fishing.

    anywhere alond the neslon dike is a good spot to fish just be prpared to do a lot of sorting, lots of fish just the big ones are far and few between.
