I dont understand the top of 25 “tagged” fish. There are numerous tagged fish in the lake and the first 25 registered qualify for the prizes? I’m assuming the tagged fish are panfish or they may be any species? And are there species categories…it sounds like just the largest weight of any species of fish???? Eitherway I like the prizes.

I beleive it is limited to 1500 holes. If you go to the web site it will explain the tagged fish. If you still have questions please let me know.

Anybody have any idea on what species the tagged fish are going to be?? I am thinking that since the trout hatchery is close by they might tag 25 trout and set them free in the lake?? Not like a muskie or nothern wouldn’t love to snack on some of them

    Feb 14th is getting closer!

I’ll be the guy with the nose warmer on…having some fun all the while keeping in mine what this contest is all about.

In fact…I’ll say it here. If I’m lucky enough to win anything, I’ll donate it back to the New Richmond District.

    You mean fish or talk?

I think I can do both…but since Bree Ann from the Bikini Ice Fishing Team is going to be in St Cloud Saturday…I’m fishing more than talking.

How else would I win anything to give back to the New Richmond Schools??

I remember that incident. Madison, WI. That was a good year.

It knocked your hat off and everything. Like I said, that was a good year.

I’ll be there. Kinda lame about the tagged fish for a truck. It’s like saying you will not win a truck. From what I read, no one has ever caught a tagged fish during a contest. At least in MN. Maybe the fish are not as smart in WI.
