I am planning on buiding my own wheel jouse out of a pop up camper frame and need some ideas of how to build the drop down wheel system. I am planninng on cutting the original axle and fabbing up the system out of that somehow. I am planning on posting the whole proccess as I built it on here. I need to see the mechanism behind the tires and the crank cable pivots and how they are mounted in differend ways. Thanks a bunch.

I actually thought about getting one of those trailers and putting my 17′ tracker on it so I could get into some of the lakes/rivers that have shallow landings. Although, I didn’t like how it has a winch on both sides instead of just one up front that does both wheels?

I looked on their website and didn’t see any trailers with crank down wheels. Do you have a link? Thanks

Northern doesn’t have them online, they sell for about $1700 and I think the Blaine store has them.

Here’s a crazy solution I saw on CL, anybody know where you get a big plastic deal like this and/or what it is called?

To my untrained eye it looks like a shelter for a calf.

This is all great but I still need pics of some wheel systems. I can get the trailer for nothing so I think I am going that way. I don’t plan on having 2k in the whole house much less 1500 to 2k in the trailer alone. I thought I could just take the alxe out frfom under the camper and cut the wheel ends off and reattach them somehow to let me make a crank down house. If you have any pics please post them. I appreciate any help. Thanks

    It’s a vertical storage tank…fleet farm, L+M, tractor supply, etc…will have them.

I have been thinking about thesame thing. Something just came to me.. How about seperate the camper from the trailer, cut and hinge the frame, remove canvas and replace with plywood. Winch on tounge.. now tilt trailer. slide off winch on. Let me know thoughts. Just an Idea
