been doing a bit of fishng in my area and am seeing bass eveywhere on the camera but they wont bite. Have been trying jigging raps, swedish pimples, jigs with waxxies and minnows, and nothing any ideas? they swim up and look at it and will bump it a few times but wont take anyof them in.

Bass dont like being bothered during the cold season.

Blue – you are just a bass magnet. You catch them even when you don’t want to.

That doesn’t work either. My first fish on my first outing on the ice this year was a 16″ LM Bass. Caught on a Slender Spoon with a red hook.
Fish love red….right John…?? 
and yes, I am a Bass magnet.
Most bass I catch are earlier in the season, but I’d try a few things:
-downsizing to smaller jigging spoons
-free-swimming minnow on plain hook under a tip-up
-no underwater camera
