i hear the bite is on there any truth and how is the ice

I’ve been out there several times (on the MN side) It’s nothing like it was last year, we have only caught 2 or 3 over 15″. Most of the time you’re watching fish follow your jig around on the Marcum, you will catch some 8 – 10″ sauger. Pretty slow. There is fairly good Ice 8 – 12″, but watch out for the points, there will be less ice there!

I have been out there a few times now and have not lit up up by any means. The fish I have caught have run very small and have been light biters. Alot of people have been out but I have not heard a good report yet.

Four of us made it out there Thursday (Mn Side)for the last couple hours of the evening. We had 1-16 inch sauger between the four of us. Marked a few fish but by no means did we light the ice on fire…..most we talked to had the same report. Ice was I’d say 8-10 inches were we were. Whatsa
