Any size is the right size.

Need more info to tell if it is the right size for you though. Today I was looking for larger ones that but settled on 1/2 OZ.

    Species you fish

    Water depth

    Current

All of these are needed to see if you have the correct size for your application. It is also nice to have different sizes for finicky fish.

I keep #2 1/10 and 3 on hand, crappies will take a #3 when on a tare without a problem.

My favorite way to fish any jigging spoon is tipped with either a minnow head or 2 waxies.

i would be going for crappie and walleye but only in a lake up to 35 feet is it still a good size?

Swedish pimples are awesome. Last year I really fine tuned my pimple techniques to the point where I could make even extremely finicky fish take it (crappies). This year I turned a day of tiny gills into a nice bag of 7-8″ers because of the pimple. The small gills wanted nothing to do with it while the big gills slammed it. Its a great bait. Try Forage minnows and Lindy’s Frostee jigging spoon in the same sizes when fishing at low light for the glow factor.

You’ll be fine with these lures. The more agressive crappies will smack the #3 and waldo will come visit them eagerly too.

Best lure out there, bar none. The silver small one with green hologram sticker on it is a perch killer. Perch love green

They work awsome! I’ve caught almost every fish that swims in an Iowa lake or river on a pimple through the ice I also like the silver with green and the silver with blue has put a lot of crappies on the ice for me. Even gills will take those pimples when they want to as long as you put a waxy on it. Good luck fishing.
