can’t get better

took my grandson fishing yesterday. he is 5 yrs old and a bundle of energy and questions. Now we didn’t catch alot of fish and didn’t stay very long. his attention span is a little short. but he caught 2 bass while jigging within the first few minutes and was happy as could be. The smiles said it all. The excitement of that 13 inch bass swimming around the hole was just what he needed. After a while he decided to go check out the ice. Wow it sure was fun. Hope everyone can experience the fun of taking a little one out. good luck fishing–John

John, that is the sole job of gandpas, making memories with their grandkids. My 6 year old caught a 4 lb 14 oz smallie off a bed some springs ago and after insisting we keep him he changed his mind and said grandpa that fish has lots of eggs in her we better let her go. He’s turning 9 now.
