I have not fished that lake yet. Lots of people fish this lake. May want to just start out at some of the community holes to see what is going on. Every year it seems like there are some iffy ice conditions over there so you may want to watch it if you wonder off by your self. There is a bait shop just off 51 that may help with info. Good luck.

Well the guy at the bait shop told me to go back to White Bear. He said we were wasting my time on Bald Eagle.. We didn’t there was about 15″ of ice. lots of perch were caught by the three of us. I found out how to use my zoom and SFL on the LX-5. The more I use this thing the more I like it. All in all a good day on the water. Maybe White Bear this Sat. or Sun..

Looks like it was in a small battle. So is that the only one for the day? I seen your mobile shack on the ice. I even pointed it out to the guys I was with.

Any time you see me on the ice, feel free to come over and say hi. I really enjoy meeting fellow IDO members. So if you do come say hi, introduce yourseld as a IDO member and what your “screen name” is.

If you are only going to catch one it might as well be a big one. Looks like that gal was having a rough life. So what is the lake access like on those lakes?

We went back today and got a limit of crappies. To bad there was three of us. We did some hole hopping trying to keep up but they move quick. I think next time we might try the bays.

Are those wounds on the fish from another larger fish, or are those wounds from a disease?

    Most likely a muskie.
