any body know how the bit is at stodard or green lake.might have to give it atry.

I haven’t fished either as of late but was at Gunners yesterday when a couple bucketeers came off the Green with empty buckets looking for a tummy warmer.
Ice talk yesterday with some locals also revealed nothing too positive for Stoddard unless you welcome the challenge of hooking gold-fish size gills which mimics my last outing at Stoddard a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure some other IDO’ers can chime in with first hand expierence on these two backwater areas of 8 & 9 with potentially more positive feedback. People continue to fish both areas so there must be SOME decent size fish that find their way to the top of the ice.

Aside from first & late ice I avoid both heavily fished areas like the common plague.
