    I’ve been a closet IDO’er for 6 months now. I’m comin’ clean! I see a lot of great people sharing a lot of great information etc. on this site. Too good to pass up on.
    I love to fish, and look forward to contributing and learning right along with everyone else.

    Here are a couple of pics from last winter. That is my daughters first fish through the ice (19 months old). And the other one, I’ll leave up to you. It involved many cold libations and a dare.

    The second pic looks like Lip Ripper sticking his head down the hole to evade an Ice Hole Swirly. (At least that’s how I remember it! )

    But God knows Rob couldn’t produce such a good looking daughter!

    Thanks for the welcome. I always like to see others’ pictures, so I posted a couple more. Notice my dog Boomer in the duck blind? The ice fishing picture is the end of March up near Minong. Topped out at 54 degrees that day. The other is one of my best smallies to date. Caught it off a brush pile with an ultralite. Fishing for Crappies. Nice surprise. 23″ and about 4 lbs.

    I think the guy in the second picture was the guy at the NFL game last week who was pouring the cooler of water on himself when it was way less than 30 degrees. CRAZY!

    If the sunnies would have had their share, I probably wouldn’t have ended up with my head down the hole. Next time, I’m splurging for an Aqua Vu.

    Welcome to IDO!!! Nice Gils!! Tuck already inquired about the sunnies knockin down the beers, so I’ll hold back. I just came through your area, and saw some of the backwaters getting locked up. NICE!!!

    Wow, what a welcome. I haven’t felt so wanted since I was the first one of my buddies to turn 21. If anyone wants to hit the ice, PM me. I’m pretty free until the end of January.
