Dink weekend. That about sums it up. I think I punched more holes this weekend than I ever have on a three-day trip. Between two of us we kept about 20 bluegill Friday and again on Saturday. The only picture fish came on the open water Sunday.
The wind was pushing the boat upstream like a kite Sunday, so we tossed a small anchor to slow the drift. I ended up hooking one at 16″, and the co-boater pulled in a 32″ pike. We had seven of the smaller eyes in the net, but we didn’t catch one sauger. 
All in all, still a good weekend in WI. If I could just find 50-60 customers up there, we’d be looking for a perminate badger address.
