As I’m headed home from a local lake a few minutes ago I drive past buffalo. Here is a car on the ice!! They were out about a hundred yards off the north access! I was out there 2 days ago and found 3-4″ inches directly in front of where they were headed. Most I found was 5″.
Oh well…maybe we’ll hear about these Darwin award finalists on the news??

You cant fix stupid they hear about cars and trucks on the Ice up north and think its safe down here.

with sleds will be all over Tonka tonight and I saw open water yesterday

best hope they paid attention in swimming lessons eh.
Most of the time the underlying force of ‘Stupid’ is laziness. I work in an industry where a number of accidents can occur, some even being fatal, and when it came down to the root cause the person took a short cut driven by laziness.
It’s to bad people don’t lean towards the cautious side but it really gets me when I see people doing this stuff with kids involved who rely on the adult for make good decisions!
