They make two sizes of containers with lids, they look like hockey pucks, they come in yellow and red. They work real good at keeping bait, as long as you keep waxies cool and not frozen, these pucks have kept my bait all winter long….most fishing stores carry them!

For large amounts, I use foam “Crawler Caddies” they have worked real well in the past.

From past experience spikes lasted much longer than waxies.

Also make sure to go through your bait once a week and throw out the black/dead ones.

packmann, you should try to keep your waxies around 50 degrees. For spikes the temperature should be under 40 degrees. If spikes aren’t kept between 33 to 40 degrees you will lose them fast.
