Fixing vinyl windows

    Well at least I think they’re vinyl. I have a Shappell 3000 and the windows are cracked completely across each the full length. Is there any way to fix them. It’s pretty hard to keep the heat in otherwise.

    Duct tape! If you want to keep the clarity and light use quality packing tape.

    Or if you can find someone that sews canvas, etc…they can sew new windows in.

    Like Bird dog said. Take the time to take out all the old stitching with a stitch ripper. Any sewing shop should be able to handle it. I’m just not sure where I’d find the vinyl windows.

    I went to a upholstery repair shop, they replaced all 4 of my windows and patched a hole for $60. The windows they put in were rated for -20, so make darn sure that you get the properly rated plastic
