I am scuba certified as well, and completely understand decompression, guess I always figured fish would be a little better off compared to people. I am just thinking back to all the fish I’ve caught up at Lake of the Woods in 40fow and released. The thought that a good 50% of those fish more than likely didnt survive bums me out. This brings me to the question, what is the most ethical way to fish “deep” water?? If I’m understanding all of this and the ramifications of releasing fish caught past 30fow correctly, how do the guides and resorts I fished out of promote catch and release at those depths??
