What type of camera do you all use for ice fishing pictures? Last year, my personal best walleye (29″) went back in the hole without even a picture. I was thinking of buying one of those 35mm throw-aways (with flash) but was wondering if I could leave it sit in the ice tent or would it freeze up and not work? – jim
Those throw aways will freeze up. At least the one I kept out over night in our old shack did. I would think that if you got one of those small ones, and just kept it in the inside pocket of your jacket you would be fine. I’ve taken some very nice pictures with those types of cameras and would think that it would do the trick for what you’re looking for.
