    I am headin up to lake of the woods on thursday with my wheel house and i usually head up to bablers but am thinkin about trying something new and a little closer any recomendations ???? Or advice ???

    My buddies did well two weekends ago out of the Rocky point area in 24 fow, A ton of giant jumbos and limits of eyes

    I fished the Rocky point area this weekend. We took our portables out to 12 mile and did very well on sauger and walleyes. We were in 31 feet off the reef, but I did catch some fish when I went on the reef in 26 feet too. Everyone seemed to be catching fish. I saw some bags of 50+ jumbo perch that came from the rental houses near Gull Rock. Some friend’s fished Arnesen’s Reef from 18-31 feet and didn’t do very well. Hope some of this info helps.

    Heading out of Bablers Fri-Sun this weekend . I expect a pretty good bite …RR
