I spent the day today chasing fish on the hard water. I went to two of my “for sure” spots. The water had changed from crystal clear to dark brown from all the snow melt here in IA. Both of the lakes I found the fish but no matter what I threw at them they wouldn’t take it. First question is with visibilty so low is there something that helps other than dark colors? Second question is will these lake clean back up any time soon? Third question is if the change is what shut them down how long will it take before they adjust and start feeding hard again?
