How about the second place perch in the Liberty Beach perch contest last February. Nice fish Neil…..compare the perch and the can of Michelob!!!!
September 25, 2003 at 10:40 pm #257832Oh, by the way Neil is holding the winning perch! Dick R. is holding the Michelob and has a buzz on………..

September 26, 2003 at 1:17 pm #257678Here’s what NOT to do while ice fishing. No this is not my truck, we saw this on Mille Lacs last winter. The guy got a little too close to a fresh pressure ridge.
September 26, 2003 at 1:23 pm #257680Now for a fish pic… we caught several nice perch like this one in Feb. last year. We were in Cove Bay on the south end, had good luck with Northerns on tip-ups too…
September 26, 2003 at 5:58 pm #257614Here’s one of my son with his first Lake Winnie perch last Jan.
September 26, 2003 at 7:22 pm #257584Here is my buddy Erik with the best perch from 2001. He may have caught the biggest, but I caught more that day!!!
September 27, 2003 at 3:11 pm #257450Nice pics guys! Almost makes me look forward to winter… almost.
October 25, 2003 at 5:07 pm #279577Do you think Dick R.’s BUZZ was from fishing with the new Buzz Rod? NOT ! lol. Thanks for the great pics guys. Keep em coming. These pics are getting me more interested in getting another fish house. Need something ”real light” weight and easy to lift and haul. I like the quality of the Otter brand but the Fish Trap seems to be the lighter of the two. I have a portable house but am thinking more in the way of a one man flip over style for the next one. Anyone know of other brands that are real light weight and with the flip over style? Thanks, Bill
November 8, 2003 at 5:16 am #281272Here is a pic of my last ice trip of the season. This laker was caught on the last day of the trout season on a boundry water lake near Lake Vermillion. Largest of the day, topped the scales at 17 lbs., 34 1/2 inches. I must note that the temp topped out at 63 degrees that day also. What a wonderful day that was!

Nice trout! Do you camp when you are out there? I am taking a group up over newyears for 4 nights. Will be camping on a Northern/walleye lake this time. Sure would love to learn the lake trout game though.December 10, 2003 at 2:36 pm #284746They came from Lake of the Woods, GH. I’m headed up there again this saturday for three more days. What an incredible fishery. I’ll post a report when I get back. Anyone else going to be up there this weekend and early next week?
