Garmin Transducer on a 400c

    I want to take my boats Garmin 400C and use it for ice fishing. I think you can use a Transducer and drop it in the whole? Is anyone else doing this? How well is working for you and do you have any suggestions? And/Or maybe I need to know that its a great idea but ditch it! Go get a Marcum! Thanks in advance.
