Headed out on pool 10 this morning. It was nice weather with the wind hardly blowing, cloudy skies, and a little chill in the air. It was a fairly good day for Crappies.
A lot of people showed up where I was, so I decided to get up and punch some holes “outside” the crowd.

It worked out pretty good with marking a lot of fish, but they were somewhat finicky compared to the norm. All of the fish were caught in 8 FOW and were hitting Pink Rembrandt’s and Black Rocker’s with Powerbait. Some guys were using waxies and I seen a lot of small bluegills caught on them. It seemed like I had to stay big to catch the good crappies.

It might be time for a new camera after taking a look at
these photos when I got home. I was going to use this for the photo contest, but I see that’s not happening with this pic. I’ll try something different if I get on some fish tomorrow. I’m holding two 12″ fish in the photo and seen one bigger than that caught. Maybe 13-13 1/2”. Take a look! Enjoy!
