Decent day on the ice. Fishing the Gill Pill in about 9 fow, I very nice jig I might add and got one nice northern. Several anglers around us were pulling northerns out all in the 5-8 lb range. Solid fish. Found a nice school of bull bluegills and crappies. They hit really well when it was cloudy but as soon as the sun came up they shut off, but when the sun started heading down the action took off again. We even charged a few glow jigs after dark and picked off a few more.
